Yearbook End of Year Update

Advance yearbook sales are now closed. Thank you for purchasing your yearbook in advance! Please check the final updated sales list here to make sure your name is on the list. Please inform Mr. Forrest as soon as possible for any errors or omissions.

Yearbooks will be distributed from the Main Gym on Friday, May 24th, at the close of school. Books will only be released to students whose names appear on the sales list. No books will be released in advance. Any books not picked up at distribution will be available the following week from the business office during lunch and after school. Please have ID with you when you pick up your book. To avoid any confusion or disappointment, books may be picked up for friends only with confirmed permission from the person whose name is on the list (signed permission, text message, etc.). Please note: no books will be sold during Friday distribution.

Books will be available for sale during finals week, at lunch and after school, from the business office. Price is $100, cash or credit card only (no checks, please). Supplies are limited, and books will be for sale on a first come, first served basis as available.

Thank you from the Yearbook.

OLD Yearbooks Available!

Dear Viking Community,

To mark the retirement of long-time yearbook adviser Steve Forrest, Yearbook is making a once-in-a-lifetime offer – all yearbooks from past years are available on a pay-what-you-will basis.  With the exception of the last three years ( 2018, 2017, and 2016, on sale for $25 each ), you can pick up ANY yearbook we have available for free, or whatever you choose to pay. Some years are not available, but most are. It doesn’t matter why - if you lost books in the fires, moving, water damage, or just buried somewhere in the sands of  time – the main thing is we want the books to be on your shelves instead of ours. If it is for someone out of town, we would request that shipping costs be covered, but other than that, no charge. Short on cash – no problem. We are happy to give it to you. Donations in lieu of payment cheerfully accepted – in spite of the leftover books, yearbook could still use whatever funds you choose to contribute.

This offer is good now through Friday, June 7, 2019. Please spread the word as widely as possible throughout the greater Montgomery community – we would love to see as many books as possible find new homes. You don’t have to be a graduate. You just have to care about and want a Valhal yearbook.

To take advantage of this offer, please contact Mr. Steve Forrest at sforrest@srcs.k12.ca.us, or Ms. Jessica Heath in the business office at jheath@srcs.k12.ca.us . Just let us know what year or years you would like, and how many. Books will be available for pickup at the business office with a day’s notice, or we will let you know if we don’t have that year.

Thank you in advance for your enduring support of the Valhal yearbook. We hope to fulfil as many requests as possible.
